KNIGHT AT THE MUSEUM   Leave a comment

(With “The Space Museum”, we reach Part 15 of our Name Dropping journey through the First Doctor’s character arc represented by his changing ways of addressing Ian: in which Ian says goodbye to cardigans forever as he regenerates into Val Doonican.)

The idea of having the TARDIS crew appear out of time is an interesting one and it certainly holds our attention for the first episode. Alas, after that, the only interesting thing is seeing Ian dressed as a rather natty cross between Matt Munro and Val Doonican.

Vicky continues to leave Susan in the dust as she wanders around stirring up revolutions and effortlessly fooling a computer into opening the arsenal

Other than that…zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Finally, to the point of this exercise. The Doctor addresses Ian in this episode as follows: Chesterton x 1, my dear Chesterton x 1, dear boy x 5, my dear boy x 8, my boy x 6.
